On March 6 and 7, ISTA brought the Bard to the Blake Auditorium with their performance of “Much Ado About Nothing”. The classic comedy about love and gossip got a modern twist, including a setting in a law office, projections of SMS messages and other media, and a dance party with a dinosaur costume. The directors who are also our English Teachers Patricia Tehan, Ali Cansiz, and Nazmiye Altinel, worked with the cast for months on using Shakespeare’s language and developing the physical comedy present throughout the show. The actors performed brilliantly both nights and received strong praise from the audiences.
