We were honored to host the fourth edition of the ACI MUN Conference, organized under the theme of “Augmenting the Efficacy of International Bodies in Conflict Resolution” where we welcomed approximately 300 participants from 12 different schools to our campus. With over 30 years of history, our ACI MUN Club students took charge of every aspect of the event—from financing to execution. The conference opened with an inspiring speech by Dr. Çiğdem Çımrın (ACI’04) on rights-based approaches and human rights due diligence in corporate settings. During the conference, participants engaged in discussions across 11 committees, exploring 30 diverse topics, including the use of artificial intelligence in various fields, climate crisis-induced migration, post-war recovery, and the advancement of social justice in these areas. This year, the addition of the French Forum provided a valuable opportunity for participants to experience similar debates in French, further enriching their MUN experience.
We congratulate all the students who took part in the conference, as well as our sponsor teachers.
