BOARDING: American Collegiate Institute’s Student Boarding Option Students, whom regularly live outside of Izmir, have the option to study and live at the American Collegiate Institute by choosing the option of 7-day boarding.
ACI BOYS’ DORM
In August of 2011, the Boys' Dorm was also opened with a capacity for 81 male residents.
ACI’s rich history and outstanding academic, extracurricular and social service programming is now ready to serve to male students living beyond the boundaries of Izmir. The new seven-story, modern facility hosts a variety of amenities to make residential life comfortable and convenient for ACI boarding students.
Located immediately across from the ACI campus on Inonu Street, this residency provides convenient access to the campus for academic and extra-curricular pursuits. A full range of residential services is offered including – spacious rooms with private desks, a reading room, common area for socializing, clinic, computer lab and wireless internet access, an outdoor patio, 24-hour security and fully-trained managers and support staff to provide guidance for teen-age, male residents. Sports , academic support and enrichment actitivies during evenings and on weekends complement this option for our out-of-town students.
ACI’s future is as bright as its past, as our graduates are annually accepted into the top private and public universities throughout Turkey and the world. Our students continue to benefit from the ACI “Spirit” long after their graduation.
ACI GIRLS’ DORM
ACI offers female students the option of an on-campus boarding experience in the Taner Girls’ Residency - a purpose-build dorm facility constructed in 2009 with a capacity for 64 student residents. The dorm facility has all of the modern features expected in a residency for young learners, featuring bright and modern rooms, spacious common areas with computer access points and Internet, flat-screen televisions. Additionally, female residents participate in organized after-school and weekend activities and supervised study hall periods. Meals are provided in the main cafeteria conveniently located within the Taner Building.
Taner Girls’ Residency is a safe, friendly, positive environment for out-of-town female students wishing to study at ACI.
