Assessment and Evaluation is vitally important phase of teaching and learning process. This process is used for determining the performances of teachers and students then shaping the subsequent educational activities.  

 

Aim:

 

As our school vision is to Strive for Academic Success In Accordance With the Guiding Principles of the School, so the function of the Assessment and Evaluation Office is to determine how much the aims of the teaching learning process have been achieved according to our school’s vision. For this visional purpose, every academic data is collected and evaluated in a scientific and objective manner.

 

ADDITIONAL EXAMS CONDUCTED BY ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION OFFICE

 

Our school aim is to test the students as much as by common exams at their levels, besides these, assessment office also conducts following exams for collecting further data about students’ learning and acquisition.

 

ACADEMIC MONITORING EXAM (AİS)

 

  • In both academic semesters, students are conducted Academic Monitoring Exams of their specific lessons in the levels. Aim is to determine missing acquisitions in their lessons from relevant semester, using these data for improving their academic success and sharing these with teachers, students and their parents for them to get precautions before starting the next semester.

 

YGS AND LYS PRACTICE TESTS

 

  • For Lise 4 students, YGS and LYS practice tests are conducted periodically for testing their performances, collecting tangible data and detecting their missing topics in their lessons and having them prepared to the real YGS and LYS exams which are very important for their academic life.

 

The careful measuring of the student’s individual academic progress which is carried out according to the school’s acquisition criteria and the analysis of our students’ test and exam results which is published on the K-12 Program. As a result of this both our students and parents are able to access their child’s test grades as well as detailed analysis of the tests by accessing the ‘Student Information Map’.
